2025 IBSM Awards

The College of Information and Biotechnology held the IBSM Award Ceremony on February 4, 2026, at Haedong Hall in Building 110.
The IBSM Award was established in 2025 to encourage research excellence among graduate students in the College and to recognize and share outstanding achievements. The program aims to identify and support the next generation of researchers by evaluating both academic accomplishments and contributions to the academic community.
The award categories include Innovation in Research (IT) and Brilliance in Biotechnology (BT) for students who have demonstrated outstanding research achievements and created value through their work. Additional categories—Safety & Security Leadership and Mentorship in Service & Teamwork—recognize graduate students who have contributed to fostering a strong culture of laboratory safety and security, as well as collaboration and communication. Recipients were selected through a comprehensive evaluation of research originality, academic impact, and contributions to the research community.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean and faculty advisors of the award recipients, who joined in celebrating the students’ achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the College’s research competitiveness.
The College of Information and Biotechnology plans to continue the IBSM Award program to recognize outstanding talent and to promote a culture of mutual respect and collaboration among researchers.
